I'd like to share something from experience that older users might yawn or throw rotten eggs at , but which i think is important for newer users to know before they get into BT or for that matter any other torrent site.

>>> suggestion 1 : try and seed for 4 times as long as you take for something to download. And by that i mean effective seeding time .. not your total internet time.
>>> suggestion 2 : Try to buy / source one album every month , check against older torrents and then upload. more experienced uploaders might want to use the handycam/soundboard recording for uploading video or enhanced high bit rate audio files of live concerts
( as a further reading i'd like to suggest dimeadozen.org where uploaders are requested to explicitly state the origin and source of recording and the equipment used to record , produce the bootleg.
