How To Make Watermark On Video

A little guide to help you to place a watermark or TEXT on a video (AVI, MPEG, MPV etc...) For that we need some software.

Software Required:

1. VirtualDubMod Click Here

2. Image creation software (Photoshop,Windows Paint, anything u want)

STEPS

1. Prepare your watermark image or text.

If your are creating a text watermark:

Open your image making software and make the background BLACK (you have to make it black to make it look translucent in ur movie) and create the text you wish to appear in the watermark, and place it on the black background.

Save your image as. BMP or a .TGA file. Try to make it 200 (width) x 20 (height).
If u are doing text...try to make a Text image precise and about the following size:

I'm using this text as an example...

Open Virtualdubmod, go to File > open video file> Select your source video and hit the Open button.

It should look like this. i m using Uposhonhar drama as a example

From File menu go to Filters

Click Add

Select Logo and click Ok

Now, make sure that the screen that comes up looks like this and add your logo by clicking the ... box

Please follow these instructions below and choose what you like

After you are satisfied with ur positioning and opacity...lets look at a preview..Click on Show Preview

Now here is my preview!!

Once you are done with your settings, click OK, and then OK again.

Then click File> Save As and name your filename and your output location. And it should start encoding.....

You have to wait until its done encoding. Then its ready to watch.

Please Leave ur comments and suggestions if u encounter any problems please post here.
