Thanks Baker Bhai. I will surely try and make the best of it. Last time I went was in Jan 2003 - spent four weeks then. One of the main reasons then was to attend a wedding and spent over two weeks in assisting with that.

This time I'm hoping to be able to tour a bit of Bangladesh as I've not really been out of Sylhet (mostly due to time constraints). Most of the time is spent on visiting relatives and friends. Everyone expects you to stay a few days with them and time just flies!

Also, with the state of the country as it is, it's quite daunting to venture out. I'm not sure whether it's just a perception or reality but it doesn't appear to be as welcoming as it used to be - especially when you get mobbed by customs as soon as you land  but at least that's nothing new.
