I released so many songs earlier but recently some new guys gave very bad comments on my previous releases. They never heard those old songs and don't have any idea that when those songs were sung probably Audio Cassette was not even invented. So u can't expect good quality. No way. But they gave bad comments. So my comments are for those people. I don't want those guys even download my releases. I am releasing for 99% good people here who understand.

Comments from stupid people should be just ignored. They only show their lack of good sense and their bad taste.
I agree that most of these songs are hard to come by. I don't believe that whatever audio cd's that have been released are digitally re-mastered. Unfortunately, being stuck in the US means that I do not have access to any new bengali releases at an affordable price.
I don't know whether increasing the bitrate to 128/256/320 would also increase the distortion/noise ususlly present in these old recordings. If you have ripped at higher bitrates you maybe able to answer that. If there is no distortion then maybe you will consider ripping at higher bitrates, please. Otherwise this maybe the best option.

Thank u both wizzard & a5h7 for ur comments. A good portion of my MP3 songs I collected at least 10-12 years ago. There were no goods songs software available there at that time to those unknown people who took the pain to convert these songs to digital format. Some I ripped from Audio CD and found that anything more than 128k bit rate doesn't change the quality much but file size increased too much. I tried Sony soundforge to fix some of the old songs but that need too much time. I sometime use musicmatch to level the volumes. But I have too many songs. Recently I bought lot of mp3's from websites and found the qualities are same as audio cassettes as I told earlier. If the original audio quality is not very good it is almost impossible to get rid of the noise. All the collections I am uploading now, I just bought and uploading them as it is. Thats why I became mad when some stupid people told my collections as "shit". Check my Shyamal Mitra collection here.
