Jibonto Kingbodonti (A Living Legend) – Baul Shah Abdul Karim
Hi everyone!
This is a collection of renowned Baul Shah Abdul Karim's popular songs, released recently with contribution from several prominant artists/bands. Here is some info for you:
Many among us know about the great Baul Shah Abdul Karim. His songs have been part of Bangladesh's Music Heritage and have taken Baul Songs to a great height. Songs like "Gari Chole Na", "Ami Kul Hara Kolonkini", "Kemone Bhulibo Ami", "Maya Lagaise" among others are all originally written & composed by him.
His songs & his lyrics have captivated listeners & musicians over the last 50 years, inspiring the nation during various forms for reforms & revolutions. He is a true legend of Bangladesh and has won many prestigious awards including the biggest honorary award of the country, Ekushe Podok in 2001.
Now 90 years of age, Baul Shah Adbul Karim is living in poverty & neglect. Sound Machine Ltd & Prominent Musicians of Bangladesh have come forward to help & pay homage to this great man by bringing out a tribute album for him.

Thousands of thanks for the attempt to share songs from a great baul. I heard a few of the songs shared by our great releaser bromora from London. I listened the songs again and again. I even burn them into a CD for my car.
But unfortunately, these songs were the worsts attempts to mislead the glory of the great living baul of Bangladesh. It was so painfull to see how some people tried to give thier own tunes in the original songs. These are nothing but wasting time to listen to these songs. Songs broadcast on Channel S,
