Is Abida Ali the actress that played the role of an art college student in Protisruti? I was about 5 yrs old, but I remember I used to watch this natok every week. :) It had Manosh Bandopadhay, Lata and Firoz (the dad). And Lata played the role, when the girl had her face all changed by plastic surgery after manash and she had a car accident. The girl had a brand new face and became "Lata," so Manash had no idea who she was. LOL. And he would get angry when he saw her working on his girlfriend's paintings, not knowing who she was. Yeah, and the song "Mon shudhu mon chunyeche" was there too. I saw your post, and it brought back a lot of nice childhood memories.
Manash does still act, but it's kinda hard to recognize him.... he doesn't have his mustache any more!

And thanks a bunch to the uploader of Eishob Dinratri.... this also reminds me of the nice old days. I am sure you already made a lot of people very very delighted with this great addition, Curresi!

This is the least I could do for the BT community given the fact that I benefitted so much from their releases. Brought back so many memories. When I saw the DVDs of this serial, the first thing that came to my mind is to share with others.

it had some excellent western soothing backgroundmusics. oh touched my heart then.
ya, if someone could get it for us. "Protisruti" that was not Abida Ali, she never show up later tho .

I think her name is Shammi Chowdhury who used to play in Roz Roz a children drama serial as Chini khala in 80's directed by Begum Momtaz Hossain. If someone get it for us that would be great. Thanks Curessi bhai for nice release.
