Hello, everyone!
I have been thinking on an extension of the BitTorrent protocol, which will incorporate peers' location consideratin for better performance. If you are interested, feel free to check it out at wiki.theory.org. Any suggestions and discussions are welcome.

In this case you will get it with a bigger delay, but on overall more people will download it for the same time."

There is somewhat of a solution for that problem and I think I wrote about it.
If there are other around you who want the torrent, the faraway seeder may consider distributing it to someone for that cluster, so the other can get it from him.
