We all know what the browser is? Browser is a software that we use on the Internet to view sites. And most of the web browsers like Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Opera and Mozilla Firefox, They are available on the internet free of cost.

Just few minutes back, I was thinking about the variety of browsers I have used since I get used to the Internet. Internet Explorer was the first Browser I use. After that I use Netscape Navigator and Opera. But with these explorers, I keep on using Internet Explorer as the main.

But since the launch of Mozilla Firefox, I have kicked all of the browsers I was using prior to it. I like Mozilla Firefox for its feature and latest automatic updates. With this browser I have been able to save myself from the load of many Software’s I may have to use. Many of the software’s that I was using prior to it, are available with Mozilla as easy Ad-ons.

The add-ons that I like about Firefox and am using are Google Toolbar, Link checker, Seo for firefox, FireFTP, StumbleUpon, del.icio.us, AI Roboform, ColorZilla etc.

Mozilla is easy to use. I love it for its speed; tab browsing feature, popup blocking, integrated search, improved privacy features and automatic updating. Since its launch, there are many versions of Mozilla are available. The latest version being available is 2.0.0.. If you are also interested in using Mozilla firefox, So go and get it.

My second favorite browser is Safari for windows. It pretty fast too. But it's still in beta. Can't wait for it's full release. Wanna hear from you guys which one you like most ??

Of course Firefox, with a few add-ons like AdBlock Plus, TabMix Plus, Dictionary Tooltip, DownThemAll or FlashGot, Show the Image (very, very useful).
In fact didn't try others (except the awful IE when I was yet to be acquaited with Firefox). Now waiting for Firefox 3!

I have seen my cousin loves Mozilla firefox too. He says it is a great feature to block spy ware and it is fast. I don't know. How can a third party software using IE as back ground be faster than IE? I used almost all the search engines available till 2004. Than stopped using them all and came back to Internet Explorer. I do use opera often as it is java based program and has less html code in it. Less html means less picture on the page, means less download or page leading time. Hence faster, like Google. Google.com has no picture or info in the main page. So it loads faster than the others.

If you set your IE in a proper setting, it should work faster too. A lot of the time it is the internet speed that takes a lot of time to load the page. A simple refresh is helpful most times. Having too many firewall, toolbar, and other features makes the browser bigger in size as it has to initialize all the third party program to run with it, means longer time to perform a simple task. Third party softwares always installs something in the background and they cause a lot of trouble too.

*Third party software always install less system files than first party.(there are exceptions for everything)

OPERA is the best----so much customizable

Firefox can't stand IE

currently using firefox 3 beta 3.

No Doubt Firefox is best and thats why most of the people use it. Only problem with firefox is that you can't read bengali newspapers with it. There is a plugin available which opens Internet Explorer if needed.
