By the way for your information the house on dhanmondi lake you posted is of Some 'Pir Baba' and it was built illegally filling in the lake without DIT's permission but that alleged 'Pir Baba' was so powerful that the DIT could issue any injunction to recapture that part of the lake ... ... it is actually favourite dating spot for 'jootis' ...;)

If I'm not wrong it is "Vashani Novo Theatre". It's a space museum like "Birla Planetarium" in Kolkata.

Vashani Novo Theatre is situated at Agargao, Dhaka. This is the first planetarium in Bangladesh. This theater crossed expectation of everyone with high technology and architectural marvel. The half circular screen seems all around the audience. 11,000 Watt sound system is there to give you taste of real digital sound. The whole building is air-conditioned to chill you.
The main auditorium is about one fourth of the whole building with an unusually big parking lot, underground. Bangladesh Government spent 1200 million taka to make the theater.
You can see a show there. There are two parts of the show. The first part is about evolution and present condition of the universe. There is also a nice description of all the planets. Second part of the show is a documentary on animals of Africa.
The overall building is a nice example of modern architecture.

I am glad to see some positive outcome atleast. if these changes anyone's views of the people of bangladesh will give me nothing but job. I'd feel atleast I could do something to help bd. For some reason I believe someday people of Bangladesh will come to make a big difference in this world. anyway... I am glad to share all these that I collected over the time and I'll as long as i can for you all.
