Re: ORA 11 JON -- One of the best war movie about 1971
ORA 11 JON is one of the great movie of all time. This movie depicts the social life of our country just after the war. I wonder if bangladesh can make good movies like this, why we have so poor condition in the film industry now-a-days.

thats because most of the directors are either uneducated or thinks about making quick money..
majority of the bangladeshi directors now use ADULT CONTENTS to attract its customers or else no ones give a shit about the movie...
another case now is bd people are watching tooooo much indian movies and only few people watched bangla movies, so whether they make it good or bad bd people still don't watch it...

Wow! This is pure nostalgia! I knew some of the people involved. My maternal uncle was involved in BD film industry and as a result, i knew many from there. Believe it or not, i met Khosru while he was recuperating at Shahbag hospital after being shot by the police during 1977. My grand dad was admitted there with a heart ailment during that time. So the room to his right had Maulana Bhasani as a patient and Khosru to the left! He used to be handcuffed to the bed! One day the guard let me in and i went straight to his bed side and said hello. He asked me who i was and i told him my paternal uncles name who was living in Denmark at the time. Khosru was very surprised at first but quickly gave me an apple and expressed his regard. I hope this isn't going to bore any of you. Many thanks brother.
