This is a documentary which focuses on the life of Yusuf Choudhury. A professional Bangladeshi photographer who made headline news in the UK by travelling to Bangladesh and rescuing his daughter who had been kidnapped by the pakistani army. His story was broadcast on local and national radio and picked up by many newspapers. The power of the media was no less back then as it is now!
He then started recording the experiences of the Bangladeshi migration and settlements in Britain.
He published a few books on this topic. The first of which is titled: The Roots and Tales of Bangladeshi Settlers.
This is a heart moving documentary which shows the hardship the early Bangladeshi community faced when arriving in the UK.

Because Yusuf Choudhury was from Sylhet and the majority of settlers that's talked about are also from Sylhet.
Since it discusses about all the settlers of bangladesh, don't u think itz better to put it under normal category and not under any subcategory. The language iz also in english, which iz also a reason why you should think of movin it. Itz a bit confusing wen u c it in thiz section.

I've not watched the programme and had only gone by what it said in the summary. The MODS can move it "up" if that is more appropriate.
