The documentary focuses on the genocide by the Pakistan Army on the Bengali people in 1971. Interviews of the wounded, witnesses, and family members of the murdered comes at intervals. To put life to the interviews, a few scenes of the genocide are reenacted with the help of the Bangladesh Army. A unique feature of the documentary is the insertion of the wireless messages the Pakistani army exchanged during their action. One Bengali engineer M M Hossain incidentally got chance to record the messages while searching for BBC on his radio at that night to know what is going on outside.
