what should be our new member titles? what would like to be titled?? What ever you have in mind please share...

2) bachal (taposhbhai for huge number of post)lolz
3) bekub ( myself,post for nothing)
4) thela-gari wala ( with low upload ratio)
5) ponkhi-raj (with high upload/ ratio, reserved for b124320)

I would suggest to add in few more titles..like those who releases..should be titled as releaser..people that seed the most..those who downloaded the most..etc. Maybe spammer title ?? hahaa..that would be a good one..read the spam rules guys...question directed to someone should be done via PM..not thread.

btw, does anyone know what is the requirement for the title BTidol ?

I just wonder , can we make more than 5,000 members end of this year ? If we do , can we handle it then ? We have so many leechers now a days rather than the seeders . We gotta do something about it .

I think the requirement for IT idol is 1tb upload. So far only one person, b124320 became BTidol.
I'll have to pass my ID and password to my grandchild to become BT idol :bestwishe .

Please set rules for upload/download ratio. i know some ppl always want to argue that they don't have broadband internet and so on... but P2P technology is surviving on this idea GIVE N TAKE = TAKE N GIVE.
People who have sharing ratio less than 1.00 must have delay for certain time in new threads, those who have less than 0.50 for 4 weeks must be warned twice in a week interval, if no improvement disable the account.
i believe most BT users has broadband connection. ISP (Internet service providers), to my best knowledge restrict download bandwidth but not upload for most private users. So, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM TO UPLOAD (SEED)???
you may also set rules for which torrent clients must be used, just to stop misuse (cheating) the server side. One of my friend told me onece, if you set hard rules, numbers of member would be less. i laught... Bangali magna paile alkatra neyar jonno notun lungi paita dey :-)

I can not agree on the fact of disabling anyone’s account. Some of user got very slow internet speed. Even thought they want to upload at the same time when we are downloading, they can’t manage to do it all the time because of the low upload speed. There are so many materials available at BT; I guess some can’t restrict themselves to download few of them only. Lets give them a chance to improve their ratio, I hope they always will try to improve it, if they don’t . . . disabling their account will be the only option available for the admin. In that case Admin won't count my disagreement.

lot of people has slow line..
but still u have to give them chance to increase the ratio.
so far we are doing gr8 here with some gr8 seeders..
they should get some title to...
just not only BT idol.
some thing at 500gb also some thing at 250.

So before you go any further I have to tell you this that u should make phone calls to all the DSL service company and tell them to increase the upstream from 12 Kbps to 100 Kbps...If u can do that then we can follow the rules...

Restricting will not solve the problem u will rather lose members who got low upstream speed and can't help themseleves because of some silly rules..

Hmm, seems like a good idea. Is there a bt client you guys recommend I use for uploading/downloading? I used Azureus before (to download loads of gnu/linux distros) and it seems pretty good. But if there's something better, let me know.
