Use this number to make a call anywhere in Bangladesh including mobile phones. The call costs 5p per minute which is cheaper than all those rip off calling cards and alpha telecoms and unicoms out there.

The best thing about this is that this number if dialed from an 02 contract phone is included in the free minutes provided in the contract. God bless my 02 contract with 2800 monthly minutes.

I dont buy calling cards anymore. I call my mom everyday, shes sick of it now.

It depends which network you are using. Confirm with your service provider before you call through this number. Some of the service provider charges almost 50 pence per minutes. There are couple of mobile network which didn’t use to charge this number and all on a sudden started charging without any notice. So you are taking a gamble here too.

As far I know this price is right if you are calling from BT landline (which is 5pence per minute). You will have to pay tax on the top of it. I’m using Alpha at the moment. They are charging me 3p per minutes to call Dhaka and 6p to call mobile numbers. To me; it was the safes option to take. I haven’t forgotten £130 bill I had to pay using these special numbers.

the best rates ever to call to Bangladesh mobile is with VoipDiscount that is only near 4 US cents and with Mywebcalls is only 4.7 US cents to mobile and 3 US cents to Dhaka (land phones).

The best thing with mywebcalls is they charge you per second instead of next minute round. So it is the best in my opinon.

It is highly unlikely that calls to any numbers apart from those beginning 01, 02 or 07 will be included in the inclusive minutes but worth reading the small print in your contracts.

In any case, there are other numbers which provide a cheaper service. There is an advert running on Channel S which quotes a 3p/min rate. I can post that here if anyone requires it.
