I'm relatively new to this site and haven't uploaded anything yet. Its time I made a beginning.
I'd like to know if this site requires a passkey to upload (some sites do). If so where can I locate my passkey.
Also do I have to configure my firewall to open port 2710 before uploading?

Debpk77, you are most welcome to upload files on Banglatorrents. No, fortunately there is no Pass key required on BT.

About firewall, many of us did not need to open port 2710, if you experience problem you sure can try that.

This is fine. Now download it as normal. Your client will ask to save the file in a location. Locate it where you have your existing file. You should start seeding in couple of seconds time. Please let us know if its working.

I have been tring to start seeding a file that I've uploaded at your site. This is my first time, I must say. But I've done everything as per instruction. But the point below doesn't work due to some strange reasons. Your instruction says:

Yes, a new window opens. And I click on the Download button. But my bittorrent client doesn't open. Instead the Internet Explorer's downloader opens.


What am I to do?

Internet Explorer downloader should give you few options such as open, save, cancel. You should click on open and the torrent file will open with your default torrent client. If you have problem with the file association then first save the .torrent file in mydocument, desktop or wherever you want. Then open your torrent client and open the file with the client manually. It should work.

then download any bangla unicode font from here . (But if you already hav vrinda font then u dont need to download the font)

now after download ther font . copy font to your font folder from control panel

visiting my blog. from internet explorer go view > Encoding > choose Unicode (utf-8) if that no in the list then add it from view > Encoding > more

after select encoding now u can see bangla.

find that encoding option i f u r using other browser

its Xtorrent : Xtorrent (for Mac OS X) but i donno it can create/make torrent or not but ithink azureus is goo for you

I'm new here and having allmost the same problem, I followed all the instruction and now when I'm trying to download it again my torrent client (ares) trying to connect first (and I can see my ip) and then lost the connectivity and just says searching and stuck forever. Plz advice?

This is a reply to the queries of Chinu_dali, mohammedfazleelahi and rishiclicks.

Let us assume that you want to seed a film called 'myfilm.avi' which is located at c:\upload directory. The location of the file will be c:\upload\myfilm.avi.

1. First read the thread on how to create a torrent written by annono (click Here: http://www.banglatorrents.com/help-s...upload-bt.html).
   Let us say your torrent is called 'myfilm.torrent'
   
2. Again following the guide created by Annonno, post your torrent in a new thread.
   
3. Next open your own thread. Your torrent file should be visible just below the screen shots. Click on your torrent file and a new download window will open.
   
4. Click on download. Either your bit-torrent client (Azureus/bitlord/uTorrent etc.) will open or the downloader of your browser will open. If the bit-torrent client opens go to step 6. Else go to step 5.
   
5. If your downloader appears, save your own torrent file (myfilm.torrent) at a suitable place (say in c:\desktop). Then open your bit-torrent client and drag and drop this downloaded torrent file in your bit-torrent client.
   
6. A new window will open in you bit-torrent client. In this new window you will be asked to locate the place you want to 'save' your file. Browse to where the files are (In our case it is c:\uploads\).
   
7. Finally set your bit-torrent client to seeding (there will be a drop box for this)
   
8. Save your settings. The window will close and the torrent will be transferred to the seeding area and seeding will start in a few seconds.

@rishiclicks: An unregistered torrent pass means that the tracker is not registering your torrent. Delete your torrent from your bit-torrent client and seed again. This time follow the steps 3-8 above.

The technical details are as follows:

When you become a member of BT, the server/tracker automatically allots you a 32 digit passkey. When you upload or download a torrent, the tracker attaches this passkey to the downloaded torrent. It can then keep a track of how much you have downloaded or uploaded and maintain your ratio. An 'unregistered torrent pass' means that the tracker has not added the passkey. Such a torrent can still upload to anyone who is directly connected (by direct hash table or dht:) but statistics will not be maintained and you will get no credit for your upload. Moreover very very few people can connect in this way.

That is why you need to download your own torrent - so that the tracker can attach your passkey.

hi, i have tried to release some music & films but i couldn't do that. of course i followed the directions but to upload a cd i had to do by one song by one which is impossible. & its not uploading also. i can not take the screenshots in media player cause i was not proposed "save image as". so need some advice wht can i do. thx

You dont need to upload each song one by one. For example if you want to upload 10 songs together first of all make a folder in your drive e.g. "Songs" Then open your torrent client and click make new torrents. from the options select directory/folder instead of single file. Then follow the rest of procedures to upload successfully.
Normal WMP does not have the options to save screenshot.Try using windows media player classic. You can find it here. Use Save image from file menu to save screenshot.
