However, try to run a speed test before doing all that. Go to www.dslreports.com and run a speed test. Sometime you do not get actual upload speed from the ISP as it was advertised. Also keep in mind that there is a difference between kB and KB. Eventhough you dont have a router, sometime dsl modems have built in firewall. So, once you have installed azurues, run a NAT / Firewall test from the tools menu. Also, sometime in the setting, upload speed are pre-defined. Maybe for the setup you have chosen, your client restricting you to upload at that speed. You may need to go through a manual setup to incearse / unrestrict your upload speed. In the internet explorer, type 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1 to see if any sort of set up page appears or not. Keep us posted. __________________ Download, seed and appriciate - loose the complaints. | 03-03-2006, 12:44 AM | | Moderator | | Join Date: Aug 2005 Posts: 1,505 Thanks: 601 Thanked 1,200 Times in 169 Posts Rep Power: 63 UL: 67.56 gb DL: 52.34 gb Ratio: 1.29 | | Quote: | Originally Posted by zitu82 Looks like you have already been adviced well..as always in this site. Then open it using Azureus and link it to the file you have downloaded on your hard disk (not the torrent file). I'm using Azureus too. I prefer it more than bitcomet. __________________ BANGLATORRENTS EXPANSIVE NOT EXPENSIVE | 03-05-2006, 08:23 PM | | Erudite | | Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Melbourne Posts: 235 Thanks: 26 Thanked 58 Times in 15 Posts Rep Power: 24 UL: 96.98 gb DL: 36.92 gb Ratio: 2.63 | | Quote: | Originally Posted by Dream Thanks Zitu82, yeah I got it from that site. Which OS you're using ? XP? You might have to unblock it for the firewall setting. Or if you have any registry checker installed like SpyBot and you didn't let it change registry you might not able to run it. Moreover you might be behind a hardware firewall in that case you have to open the port through set up page. Try http://192.168.1.1, http://192.168.0.1 , http://10.1.1.1 those range of pages. If you can post a screen shot of the error message or more information about the exact error BT sure can help you better. I stopped using azureus about 4 months ago and still living happily with BitComet no probs. __________________ ============= Mobile And Wireless Vobghure Trachira | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | Similar Threads | | Thread | Thread Starter | Forum | Replies | Last Post | | | |
