please suggest how to increase ratio

There are only two ways you can increase/improve your ratio:

1. When you download anything (say a movie or a mp3 or whatever). Don't stop or delete the torrent from your bit-torrent client. Continue to upload, even after your download is complete until your ratio is >1.1.
   
2. Upload something that you would like to share with others.

If you continue to do both, your ratio will improve rapidly. So far as I can see, you have just started out. If you follow the above suggestions there will be no ratio problems.

I searched the FAQ area but kisu na peye post korchi...hopefully someone can help me.

I can't seem to upload to the BT site...i don't see any option for upload. Would someone plz prove me w/ the details? Onek deen dhore d/l korchi and I like to share some some files I've.

Also onek deen dhore notice korchi amar ratio keep going down...but after every download, I seed for atleast 4/5 days non stop... can someone tell me what am i doing wrong here??

If you do not upload your ratio is likely to go down. Upload speeds on this site are often low, perhaps due to the low bandwidth available with many members and you should keep uploading until your share ratio for each file is greater than 1.1.

Three suggestions:

1. Use a bitorrent client other than Bitcomet. It often gives ratio problems. Try using Utorrent or Azureus instead.
2. For information on how to upload see the following thread by Annonno - http://www.banglatorrents.com/help-s...upload-bt.html
3. Check if you have done port-forwarding. If not, do it now, to increase upload speeds.

some times availabilities of torrent files are showing less than 1.00.
even not increasing after keep long time of downloading conditions.

is there any solutions?

I'm not quite certain what you mean by availability.

In Azureus, this figure indicates the total percentage of a file that has been actually uploaded across a swarm. The availability figure will rarely exceed 1 unless there are more than one seeder. (In theory it is possible, but in practice almost never experienced). If it shows less than 1 it means that the seeder has not uploaded the complete file.

Availibility depends more on upload/download speeds and less on time/duration of downloads.

At first you said your download ratio is not good. That means that you have downloaded more than what you have uploaded. If the ratio is less than 1, you should be seeding/uploading more.

Then you said that you are unable to download. Since you appear to have downloaded something in the past, we need to know if this is for a specific torrent or a general problem.

Please check the following:

1. First check if the torrent you have downloaded has seeders. If there are no seeders, it is unlikely that you can download much.
2. Second, check in your torrent client (Azureus) if you are connected to other seeders/leechers. If not, you cannot really download.
3. If you are connected and still cannot download, check if you have done 'port forwarding'. This is necessary for sharing.

If none of the above is true, then please write again, giving the exact problem.

hi um...i have this problem wit my bt client...im using utorrent 1.7.2. network n everything is kool. problem is that im downloading this torrent (Fuad - Bonno) and im not connected to any peers, only seeds, although there are 2 peers shown in the tracker...so...how am i sposed to upload? any help wud be very appreciated, thank u :)

Dear all.
started (Natok: "Shopno ebong Shopnil" torrent main file) downloading with getright 6.3 . Worked fine.
I Started and stopped downloading several times.
IN the meantime it downloaded 27 MB of 130MB Till yesterday, When start downoading again, it just increases from the last file size.
and so it was OK.
Now it is downloaded 87 mb already. but if i stop downloading and start again, it starts from 27 MB filesize. it occured several times and so I can't complete download the natok.
Ps help me.

If there is no seed, there is nothing we can do other than requestin on that particuler thread. Try requesting on the thread. If some good man turn up than you will be able to complete.

@rishiclicks: You get an "unregistered torrent pass" when the tracker does not recognise your password and thus does not add a passkey to your torrent download. Similarly Tracker status OK(dht:) means that you are not connected to the tracker but can connect directly to peers (dht stands for direct hash table).
Try the following steps:
1. Delete the torrent from your system
2. Shut down Banglatorrents and then restart and log-in again properly with your username and password.
3. Download the torrent again and point it towards the location where you want to save the 'monihara' file.

The torrent should now work. If it does not, clear cookies from your system and repeat the steps above.
