Hi,
Thanks a billion to everyone to maintain such a nice page & sorry to ask question here as i had problem finding where to ask. I was trying to get into the rules page - how to download bangla torrents page, it says, i don't have permission for that page. Earlier i was able to log on there though. please allow me permission there. also, i had abc software loeded & through that i have loaded some nice drama. but, since it had some problem, i deleted the abc folder from my c:/program files & all dramas loaded also got deleted. is there any way to bring those loaded file back without going to abc agian & load those streams? also, now I loaded abc but it's not opening. so, please help me install that & about other mentioned issues. Thanks a lot agian. used id- anam.

Hi anam, we can uderstand that you have been realy messing everything. But dont worry evrything will be alright.

1. You can get back your deleted files from your HDD (C/Programms....) by using any Recovery softs, available from the net. But those files may not work properly as some informations fro those files might have been lost already. Better you download fresh copies from BT, thou it will take time and demands patience!

2. You logout and delete your coockies from the Internet Explorer. See more help for that:

4. If you still have problems dont hazitate to ask here in details!

5. I like advise you to use BitComet as it is the 2nd best client after Azureus but takes so much memory. BitComet is therefore the best client according to my experiences.

I am having prob wth my upload speed. I am able to upload at 800 kbps (100 KB/s) according to my ISP (Rogers, Extreme, Canada) and I can do tht wth FTP and p2p stuffs. But my BitTorrent upload speed is 20 KB/s max !!!!!! I searched the internet and found out tht may be rogers is throttling torrent uploads tht means they have some kind of traffic scanner box tht limits torrent upload speed. This is really frustating coz it takes ppl more than an hour to download an album. I am currently using Azureus 2.3.0.4 also tried bitcommet, same prob. Anyone has any idea how can I overcome this prob ? Even if u know any other ISP tht beats 6 mbps/800 kbps plz reply. I would be able to contribute BT much better if anyone can solve this . Thanx in advance.

Just a quick question, have you done the port forwarding that is if you are using any firewall or router?

Nope I'm not using any router or firewall. My Azureus health shows green tht means no NAT prob either. I really need a sollution for this prob. Anyone who has any ideas I can try (even if u r not sure) plz reply. I dont pay $ 47 monthly for this poor upload speed :( I cant even call Rogers and blame them coz they'll never admit it, they r just gonna advice me to stop using torrent !!! (Now u know tht's not possible :) )

Are you using one of the default BitTorrent ports? If so, I would recommend you switch to another one (28367 for example). Most traffic shapers work on known ports.

I'm using port 1720 bromora. Its not the default torrent prot. I am using this port coz its rumoured to be Roger's VOIP port (all these problems started when Rogers started VOIP service as they need more upload speed for this service, :( bfr this Rogers was the best u could get in Toronto) Rogers wont admit tht they r using ne kind of traffic shaping boxes though. Thanx for ur advice. More ideas plz guyz

BrainWalker, Having hi upload bandwidth has no direct correlation with torrent's upload speed. Your total upload bwidth is 800kbps=100kBps, which is really good. You can get decent upload speed using HTTp or FTP, but with torrents it is not higher than 20kB/s. Is that speed for only one torrent uploading? or that's like total upload speed for 4/5 torrent uploading alltogether?

First, check your upload speed @ http://www.dslreports.com . Make sure to turn all internet activities off b4 the test to get most accurate result. If the result is not satisfactory, perform the test 3 times in 3 different time of the day. You will get a real working upload speed. Which will be lower than 800kbps. That's OK unless test shows upload bandwidth is really LOW!

You are suspecting that since ISP is doing some packet sniffing and blocking torrent packets. Try random and higher-port value. 1720 is too risky. Even your ISP blocks torrent packets, that will not affect your upload speed in torrent software. Think, You are uploading a torrent file in packets, your ISP is blocking some of them, preventing delivery to other user. Say, you send 100Pack/sec, ISP blocks 50%, other users are getting 50Packets/Sec. So, effective upload speed is 50packet/sec, but you are still uploading at 100packet/sec. So you should not see the change in speed. But you will see that you have uploaded 200%+ of a file but still no new seeder born, as many packets are lost and you are re-trasnferring them.

If dslreports' speed test shows close to 800kbps upload speed and you are using randomly chosen higher port, then rest is on the people downloading from you. I have seen people downloading from me at 1kbps. It's frustrating. When we download we should not run too many torrent at a time, if we are downloading some torrent where I am the only leecher. As it will take a long time for the seeder. Actually seeder might leave getting irritated by the only SLOW downloader. So, if other users are bz downloading other torrents they are not downloading from you w their best download speed. They are the looser, not you.

Could you give little more information of the error you get ?? Like exactly what the error says ? Also, the name and the version of the torrent client you are using.

Afsos for the last two months i am trying to download, but still cant download anything at all what so ever.God knows why. can anybody help me out plz. I so badly wanted to watch Humayun Ahmed dramas, I have got Azureus software, Everytime i try to download it says conection timed out, or nobody seeds, i dont know why, can anybody will be kind enough to help me out plz.

bd4tanim, first do this simple test. Open Azureus, from tools menu drop down to NAT/Firewall test. Open the test and perform it see what it says. If the test result of the given port comes out "OK" then click on apply. If it does not result in Ok at the window below then try other ports.

Thanks zitu for answering. Just to add, bd4tanim bhai, you can run the autoset wizard. Open Azureus, then Tools>Configuration Wizard...and then click next, next... for common use settings. Let us know if you still have problems. You may also want to use the latest version. For that, go to Help>Check for Update.....

hi seems yu are a new user, welcome to BanglaTorrent! Please follow the rules bellow to solve your problem:

1. Logout from BT
2. Delete all cockies from your Internet Explorer: go to Tools>Internet Options>Delete Cockies
3. Delete the torrent file from your client
4. Restart your PC
5. Download a new fresh copy of torrent again. Start your client. It will help.
6. Increase your share ratio, it is poor and may make problem to download.
7. Come here and post your questions in details if you still have the problem.

thanks for the great releases. I think this is an awesome site! But I am kinda new to this site. So i need some help. Whenever i try to save the torrent link, the window opens in an html format, not an .torrent link. I dont know the rules of this site. Is it that, i have to upload something and only than i wil be able to download something from here or what? I really want to see the 69s and i will really appreciate if u can help me out.

I have answered your question already in the other post, please do not post same thing twice. It is against the bt rule and counts as a spam. However, in this same section, there are many sticky threads, few of which answers your question. There is a reason why we have "Help & support" section, please read through or even try searching first. Also, I would suggest you read the BT rules and other informations.

I can't play movie files with my media player 10. Downloaded all CODECs but the result is same. Besides, there are some files which shows .avi,.mpeg but they don't work at all. What should I do?
