Probably these files are associated with other program like real player etc. That's why double clicking them won't open WMP. You can use vlc player with what you can play virtually anything.

I am trying to download a file but I am not being able to connect to the sever. At first the status shows 'starting' then goes to 'idle' status. The file has 5 seeders but I dont know why this is happening :(. I am using Torrent storm to download.

Have you fone through the auto configurationg ? You also need to set it up accordingly to your dsl speed. You can go to their website and put your speed, and they will give you the proper settings. Also, what is your upload speed limit right now ?

my upload speed is 80k. how to configure azureus? i am getting a message generally that NAT error. what is this? let me know pls otherwise i have to wait long for enjoying kacher manush.

Naisha, just as I thought. You usually get a NAT error if you are behind a firewall. Are you using a DSL Modem or a router ? Do you also have a firewall software (ex. Norton, MCafee). Usually if the security of these firewalls are set high then they will block the port through which azureus downloads/uploads from others. I have posted before a tutorial on how to do a port forwarding, search the forum for "port forwarding". If you can't find it, then I will help you with it. What modem/router/software firewall do you have ? Follow the link for better explanation of NAT error. http://azureus.aelitis.com/wiki/index.php/NAT_problem

btw, there is now a really nice way to thank someone. All you have to do is go to the thread where the torrent link for the video is posted, right below it (on the first post, right side bottom of the post) you will see a button labled "Thanks", press on it and it will show that you have thanked that person. Is everything going fine now ?? You know you don't have to remove the firewall if that was the problem. You could've just simply setup the firewall to allow connections on the port that the torrent client uses...if you need more help, feel free to ask.

thks zitu bhai for helping me. actually i am not getting expected download speed like ago. i am downloading kacher manush (30-35) for 3 days. but still it 50%. so imagine!!!!!!!!
i removed firewall from my internet set up. i am dowmloading 4 drama though only kacher manush is progressing other 3 remain same and seeding 3 drama.
so suggest me what to do.

Naisha, first stop all activites on azureus and any other programs that requires DSL connection. Then go to http://www.dslreports.com/stest and run the speed test to see your actual speed. After you know your speed, go to http://azureus.aelitis.com/wiki/index.php/Good_settings here you can find the settings you should choose dependsing on your online speed. Also, when you open azureus, from the top menu bar, click on HELP and then CHECK FOR UPDATES. download if any available.

What you must do is, stop all the torrents. And then try downloading one natok that has more then 3 seeders. Limit the upload speed to 30 and downloading speed to unlimited. This should do it.

I am having the same problem. and I am using Torrentstorm for download. sum1 plz help.

When you click on the link "download", does your torrent client start automatically ? If not, open the torrent program first and then click on the download link. Make sure you click on it and not press right mouse button "save as", don't do that. When you click on the link, your torrent client must run to download anything you want to download. Before you download, also clean your internet history, and temporary internet files along with cookies. Then sign back in and have the torrent client running while clicking on the download link. Also, disable your pop-up blocker if you have any. After you click the torrent link from the thread, it suppose to open a new window with the red download link along with files you have recently downloaded. So, if you have a popup blocker it might be blocking that window. If any problem, please ask more questiong with detail information. Thanks.
