Well Sarwar there is a button on the right - upper side, "Download". You click the button and you get the torrent. Upon click, depending on your torrent software settings, the torrent may start downloading or browser will ask you to Run/Save/Cancel. You can "Run" it, torrent software will start downloading. Or you can save it to a particular folder, then run the torrent file or add it to your torrent client software.

what i understand from your post and download stat, the problem is you are trying to download the files which were released months ago. So theres no seeder at the moment (means no one is uploading for you right now). thats why your client is trying to connect but no one is on the other side.

In this kinda situation, post a reply something like "pls seed for sometime".if you are lucky enough, somebody will come forword to help and seed for you. but no guarantee dude coz people usually dont keep these files for ages.

hope it helps you to understand :)

Normal DVD players doesn't usually have suport for DivX files (your downloaded .avi files). So in order to play these files in your DVD player you have to convert them into a format that is supported by your DVD player [e.g mpeg]. Or you can make a new DVD out of the files you downloaded [e.g Nero Vision express]. You can try google to find the software required to convert avi to mpeg. In most cases you'll be able to download the trial version. I'd suggest you to google one more time for software torrent sites and you can download the full softwares from there.

And your final option is to buy a new DVD player that support DivX playback These days philips, LG and even pioneer have DVD players with firmware update to support DivX playback.

Hope it helps

PS. We are not allowed to post any external link ... but spamming for google is overlooked as it is hard to live without it ... :D:D:D

JaZaman is right. You are probably burning DATA dvd, not DVD-Video Disc. If you have proper codecs Nero can convert .avi files to DVD files, but will take LONG time and much disc space. You can also make mpeg first, then dvd as mentioned above. I personally prefer direct conversion, which reduces less data/quality loss.

Unless it's a movie that you really want, making dvd out of .avi is not economical. I bought Philips DVP-642 for $70 from WallMart. I can watch .avi files from DATA CD/DVD.

Admins, please confirm the upload size limit for .bmp files as attachment. As I tried to upload a .bmp file in attachment, I was told as an error that the maximum size allowed for this type of file is 19kb and my file is too large.

Also, could anyone suggest me, or post the link to the thread, on how to convert a video file from DVD (rip from dvd) the fastest way and keep the file size small. Thanks.

Please choose the jpg format. As .bmp format does not show the thumbnail. I guess you followed this http://www.banglatorrents.com/help-and-support/633-tutorial-how-to-take-screen-shots-and-upload-them-using-media-player-classic.html
Please make sure when you will save the file select .jpg format on save as type.

Taposhbhai already answered your second question. If you need more help please let us know.

Exclamation Need Help!

Ok thanks, I will save it as .jpg format for next time. Now, my next question is, will it be a big problem if I just upload .vob file since it saves me time and can be played with windows media player from any computer and other media players like DivX player, it is like playing a dvd without having the actual dvd or a dvd-rom. You can simply download the folder (about 300mb compressed) and then open the .vob file, in this case, instead of opening the .avi file. Smaller file size with better quality then if I was to convert that .vob to .avi/.mpeg. Please let me know.

If any one wants to share anything it's his or her choice how to share it. Historically, people want good quality video in smaller sizes. But ironically the smaller file gets, quality degrades drastically.

There is a rules of thumb, check for data rate rather total file size. Ask youself how many MByte you are sharing for per minute of video? Like if your .vob files (OR the whole DVD) contain total 2HR movie and it is total 4.47GB, it's too much. Better rip it for us in 700MB to 1.2GB .avi size. In some cases (Like Nokkhotrer Raat), if you have a 5HR video in 2.xxGB then better release them as .vob.

If you decide to share files as .vob make sure you copy the dvd using DvdDecrypter and you choose IFO mode and copy ALL THE FILES not only the .vob ones. Other files are really small but they are needed if we want to burn a DVD out from the files.

For an example, I wanted to created DVD from Nokkhotrer Raat .vob files shared by Anonno. But Nero rejects the files as some .bup & .ifo files are missing. They are all less than 1MB, but now I can't make DVD out of it. Well there are ways to make DVD out of .vob, but giving us all files save much hassles on our side. Waiting for your releases, thanks in advance.

i guess you have selected WMP as your default application for torrent. you need any torrent client to be able to download anything from BT. if you have that follow my instructions bellow:

1. right click on red button "Download Now" then choose "Save Target As" and save the torrent file somewhere so that you can find it easily.

2. Right click on the torrent file you downloaded and choose "Open With" and then choose your bittorrent client (BitCommet or any other soft) to open the file.

3. It will run your client and you choose where to save the video file. Choose and click OK. Wait a few seconds and it will start downloading.

Let us know if you still have problem.

Good Luck!
