Can I download more than one torrent files at the same time?

I have a question. I always download one program at a time using Bittorrent. Is that possible or ok to download two torrent file/program at a time using BitTorrent? Is it safe to do that for computer? Any idea please?

HI virginia2005,you can download many torrents files at a time.It depends on your internet speed,your computer configuration (processor,RAM etc).If you dont feel any problem with speed (internet or computer) feel free to download as many torrents as you wish.

Just for fun I am posting someone's torrent activity at a particular time in some other torrent site.Though this is too much :D :D

that really IS IMPRESSIVE!! ....if u use client like ABC or Azureus...its pretty easy....that is if u have a high end machine...

well first of all i use Bitspirit and Bitcomet at the same time lol but i like Bitspirit coz u dont need to register from the site in order to download and the speed goes so HIGH. i download like 2 or 3 torrents at the same time.
