I am using Bitcomet to download/upload.
I dont know why the upload speed is mostly shown as '0' whereas the download varies from 1-7,8,9 KB. I wanna be one of the good seeders after I am finished with downloading the files.

May be that’s what your internet speed is. Have you ever checked your internet speed by any chance? Try the following link. It will tell you the upload speed you are supposed to get on your connection.

Here is one example result. Take a look at the red circle which is my upload speed. A lot of internet service provider provides with a high level of download, but very low level of upload speed. I hope your service provider is not one of them.

thanks gladiator, yes, my upload speed is 2.5KB. but yet when I am seeding there should generally be some uploading take place. else my ratio will go so bad. what can I do now?

If I were you, I would be very selective on my downloads and be the first one to download something, so that other lechers download it from me. The problem is when there is someone else with higher upload speed, lecher's client connect them first.

There was a time I was struggling with my upload speed too. I managed to get over it by changing my Internet connection. Sometimes changing the internet service provider helps more than seeding for 24 hours with low upload speed. I was paying more money on my electric bill than the money I am paying for my new internet connection now.

Now if thats the upload speed, then guess what life I am living?without uploads I am feeling guilty. How can I actually increase my upload ratio?
