I work in Win98 OS, I have winamp, VLC, WMP9 installed.......I couldnot get from post#6 if one need to have all the mensioned SWs installed or one of those....or I cant use torrent in 98 OS?.....please help me out

I've been a member of Bangla torrentts for the last 1 yr. But started downloading file from Aug 01, 2007. I use Getright 6.3 to download torrents and it was downloading fine for me. My first download "Shopno abong Shopnil" was going on smoothly. I downloaded 27 MB at the first day (in the meantime, I paused and stopped downloading several times. when I started again, everytime it started from the earlier downloaded size ). PROBLEM arises on the 2nd day, I started downloading(appr. 2 MB) and stopped it. but problem is When I started again, it's downloaded part became yesterday's size i.e. from 27 MB.
Tried several times but again and again, it started from yesterdays size(though today it downloaded some part of the file).

Think u got my problem.
Pls Help me.

NOTE: PLs don't say , use Bit Comet or some other software. try for solution with GetRight.

Bhai, I'm confused. What seems to be the problem? You said its downloading fine and than, what happened since yesterday?

problem is: When download starts, it again goes to 27 mb(though I downloaded upto 80+ mb). i.e. again it starts from 27 MB and after sometime(for example after 1 hr, suppose it downloaded upto 35 MB of the file and if i stopped downloading and start again, it again starts from 27 MB). So it seems i can never complete the download.
Think now you got the problem,

Ripan bhai, Sometime these strange problems can be solved by changing the torrent client. Looks like you are not willing to change your client at the moment.

I don’t really know how otherwise you can solve this problem. I’ve never seen anyone facing this kind of problem before. Please check your destination for the file to save is the same place where you have saved it before. ‘Shopno Abong Sopnil’ is not a big file (130 mb only). If I were you I would finish it off in one go. This is how you don’t have to download it again from 23mb. Good Luck.

To JABA, cause you are new just ignore the warning and download the torrent file. then open it using your torrent client. You should be able to able to start download with in few minutes if there is enough seed. Good Luck.
