Hi! I'm desisilver from India and my mother tongue is not Bangla.

I first saw Bengali movies, with English/Hindi subtitles on Doordarshan telecast on Sunday afternoons during the late 1980's.

As a child I was transfixed by a scene in Sonar Kella when one of the villains, Mandar Bose trie to stab Feluda in the running train but later falls to his death.

I also saw the complete run of the fabulous "Satyajit Ray Presents" (In Hindi) and greately admired Shashi Kapoor as Feluda.

I now posses all Feluda Books and movies presently available.

I thank the guys at Bangla Torrents for their effort in maintaining this great site so that we can all enjoy our common appreciation of everything Bangla.
