Ami try kore seed korte after downloading a program, kindi, always, my download speed is much much more than upload (jodio, ami onnek try kore high speed a upload korte). beshirvag time, upload speed is like 1kb or 2 kb type, sometimes i get good speed.

I use Bittorrent. There is few options under "Prefs" section in Bittorrent. ai gula te ki kono change krote hobe? jemon -

1) Don't allow multiple connections from the same IP
2) Kick/ban clients that send you bad data
3) break-up seed bitfield to foil ISP manipulation
4) Flush data to dish every 5 mins
5) Force icon to display green when firewalled
6) enable read/write buffering

use bitcomet or azureus. these r better then bittorrent.

(1) thats an usual case.in most of the ISP service download speed is more than upload speed.rather equal is a rare case.and remember ur upload speed also depends on how many peers (leechers) u r connected with and how is their d/l speed.

(2) NO.dont change any of these settings.actually in torrent s/w,its the best to stick with the default settings.

and try Azerous or utorrent.they are better and convenient to use.

Use utorrent. You will get unbelievable speed.

My comments r based on the fact that ur really concerned about uploading more.

1) Don't allow multiple connections from the same IP -- Same people can donwload from u with upto 3 different ports. So uncheck this one if u really care about uploading

2) Kick/ban clients that send you bad data --- leaving it unchecked may be a good idea. U don't wana ban a leecher just because he sent u a bad packet. This happens a lot to home internet connections

3) break-up seed bitfield to foil ISP manipulation -- not sure about this one.

4) Flush data to dish every 5 mins -- not sure about this one eather

5) Force icon to display green when firewalled -- its probably a bad thing to do.Even if the torrent file gets rejected by the firewall, the client will still show u green insted of yellow/red. so leave it unchecked.

6) enable read/write buffering -- it depends on your PC configuration and the internet connection. in general if ur PC is P4 with SATA drive with 7200RPM then u don't need it. Or if ur connection is morethen 2MBPS upload/download then u better check this one. otherwise u might end up with HDD crash. Like it happend to our BT idol Raihan ( our 2.58TB seeder)

bEdenkot bhai,i think our admins are working on it and gonna fix the waiting time soon and will assign a logical required ratio.but till then your defined way is the best way.Every releaser and seeder can work on it.

Ok now thats a Good point, why people are not seeding being owners of High Speeds. like me people with slower connections in BD are hoping to contribute more when they might [ only our bureaucrats and linemans know when they will reach the cables and speed of this SEA ME WEA submarine cable connectiopn to our doorsteps].

i am really fed up with the leechers .. i have been seeding all the previous close up releases all alone .. but i can see many ppl completed downloading and dont even bother to seed for others .. :(

I WILL NOT REALEASE ANY MORE OF CLOSE UP 1 UNTIL I SEE ATLEAST 50% SEEDING THE FILE FOR OTHERS

Bondhu vai, I really appriciate your work, I had been trying to seed other parts of close up 1 and trying to raise my ratio, but as I told you before, the last one which was the Eid special, I couldn't finish downloading and was stuck at 99.6%, so if I do not have the file 100% how can I seed? and is it fair to punish others by not releasing any more of close up 1 for some leechers?? thanks anyways.

This frustration is very understandable! BT releasers and seeders are doing a great job releasing and seeding for others when some of us are just having the fruit without intending to share! We understand if someone has a slow connection, you should try to maintain the balance by seeding more than downloading. Moreover we've been monitoring the "Peers" and "Hall of Shame" and found some members are the first to download and never seed.

Very soon BT admin is going take strict measure in response to seeders’ frustration. So, please try to increase your ratio. When you try, we consider your slow connection but when you ignore, it should be strongly discouraged!

I guess You should ad up at least 100 seeders or lechers name in the Hall of shame or fame,and make easily visible to any one so everybody could look at it. Or you should obliged any one to make donations who couldn't Maintain proper ratio.Since we are more than 10,000 BT members,so it is not a problem to get rid away those selfish lechers.I hope if you start imposing donations to the lechers,they will come back to the right track .So why should we bother those selfish lechers !
