How to invite other people to join BT

yet I am writing another thread to ask you write down your thoughts on what and how we can request other people to join BT. Our cause on this to gather more seeders for us and more seeders means longer torrent file / seed life and faster downloads...

so lets work togather guys... fill this thread with any idea you have... each and every ideas is valueable for us even if it is similar to others.... just get them listed here....

I think we have discussed earlier how we can advertise or get more people here and according to the daily statistics shown on top right corner of the page the growth rate is pretty high for this site. Anyway unmad never run out of ideas [alhamdulillah] ... apart from what we have discussed earlier I was thinking of sending invitation link directly to the users via email service. Each current user would have a tool in their user cp from where they can invite their known friends and others by putting their email address. Obviously the invitation letter would have to carry a general format with the allowance of a certain degree of user customization. If the people joins the community following the invitaion, the original sender will get some bonus point or something [you have to decide what] else. Just think something like gmail invitation, where the original also benefits from it so they'd be encouraged to send the invitations.

1. There are many BD sites for news, chat and more, for instances, e-mela, Bangla2000, Bangladesh online and most read-newspapers online. They are different from BT and have different issues. As BT is a forum with torrent facilities some of them might be interested to add BT logo on their websites, in exchange of, that BT might put a seperate list on them. I am not sure but we can have discussion with them. Advertising on other commercial sites will demand investment.

2. BT can open another section as already exists, and add a list of web addresses of private persons who are somehow related to Bangla or Bangladesh and in exchange put a condition that they must put a BT logo on their respective pages. From this both they and BT may have more visitors and thus attracts more users to BT.

3. BT may have a seperate program to reward those who release new and unique stuffs. There might be a list of top releasers of the month with photo and discription, if the releasers are interested. I am sure redeneck will be the top of the releasers every month, as he has been affodring us with current issuef of interests. Or there may be some kind of rewards as jazaman has pointed/implied.

if members put BT link in their own MSN messenger/Yahoo messenger nick name....some people will be invited automatically for sure....

another way would be using the link as email signature...

These are inexpensive ways and offcourse depend on individuals...but i guess..its worth it ;)

BT is now totally invitation based site....I request ADMIN/MODs to tell us the minimum criteria to able to invite others unless its very confusing to many members....
