Congratulations to Nolok. Does anyone knows about his back ground!!! I am vey curious. As far I know he is a high school drop out and was employed. Does any one know where is he from!! Where did he used to work.

This looks like a fairtale story, all Bangladeshis were overwhelmed with Nolok when he won the competetion. It was amazing. I am totally in love with the way he sang " Shorbonasha Padma nodi..." and Razib's " Shurjo doye tumi...". I wish all the best for all 3 of them, all of them are brilliant!!!

Just read a very strange fact abut Nolok Babu from Daily Manabzamin.

Actually he is not the original nolok.his name is forhad.when he arrived to regester with his friend,time was over.somebody called nolok registered but did not show up that day.so some local organizer suggested him to take the part with this name and he became nolok babu.

anyone else have heard this news before? sounds kinda unbelievable to me and manabzamin is not a very reliable source,IMO.

Yes, it is true. As I said earlier his life is like a fairy tale. Can yo imagine your kajer bua's son becomes the super Star!!!!!! Amazing!! Hats off to this incredibly tallented boy and to his mother( who struggled to death to feed her child).

I am so amazed by the tallent as well as the strength of this boy, it is not only the tough competetion but also the hard struggle to survive amongst all those educated(!) and many well to do people. nolk babu/ Farhad passed all the tests with flying colors.


By the way, NOLOK is on the front page (with picture) of all most all the news papers in Bangladesh today(both English and Bangla) except for Janakantha...!!!!!!!!! :-):-)

yes, its true, Nolok said it to in Paltalk KobitaOgaan voice chat room on his own voice. His name wasn't nolok babu before.
