ATN Taroka, Tarokader Taroka to be aired soon


ATN Taroka,Tarokader Taroka, one of the talent hunts in the country, has been launched recently to discover and promote talented artistes. For the programme, ATN Bangla has divided the country into 17 parts. Aspiring artistes will be primarily selected in two principal segments - music and acting. The selected talents will then take part in the competition in Dhaka.

Participants from all over Bangladesh are slated to participate in this year-long cultural extravaganza. The talents will be selected by both judges and the audience. Viewers can vote for their favourite participants through SMS.

The selection process is already over in Rajshahi, Dinajpur, Rangpur, Bogra, Khulna, Jessore and Kushtia. The selection at Rangpur will be telecast on August 1 and 2. Hopefully ATN Taroka will be a new window for aspiring artistes in Bangladesh. (Source: The Daily Star)
