Close up 1 2006 starts july 14 on chittagong

guys, after the tremendous success in last years close up 1, its is no wonder that close up 1 is arranged again. the most interesting part of this close up 1 is that now the non-residential bangladeshi living in USA and UK can take part in this show. Quote from www.closeup1.com "The primary selection will be held at two audition panels in New York City, USA and London, UK where participants’ performances will be captured on video and the raw footages will be sent back to Bangladesh for judgment. The panel of judges will consist of renowned music personalities of Bangladesh, who will be selecting based on a participants’ individual merit. Those selected will be asked to come to Dhaka for the next round of the selection process"
last day to register online for the non-residential bangladeshis is July 9, 2006. only few days left. if you think you got what it takes, register and make probasi bangladeshis proud.

guys, today is the last day to register for non-residential bangladeshi for close up 1 contest. Can't wait to see another exciting year of the program.

First day
8 candidates including last years top 20, Aurin and her sister advanced to 2nd round from chittagong in Closeup1 2006. Judge, Ahmed imtiaz Bulbul mentioned that unlike last year, this years closeup1 participants will not be selected b/c of emotion. the figure, only 8 (so far)out of 2500 participants speaks for itself about the hardness of the competition. Finally, the competetion started after all the wait. NTV will start airing the closeup1 First round from August. (courtesy of daily amardesh, july 18, 2006)
Next day
the competition in chittagong didnot end on july 17, (four) 4 more were selected on july 18. So, now 12 participants are going to dhaka from there.
