There are a few occasions to feel proud for our artiste as they represent Bangladesh through their exuberant performance at the international level. Band vocalist James did it earlier as his rendered song in the Indian film Metro swept across the Bollywood to Middle East and other parts of the world. Such is the case going to be with Mehrin. Though not any play back stuff like James did, Mehrin’s vocal will be heard alongside other world class musician performers.

She has become one of the artists in India’s Bikrom Ghosh's current international project.
Its name yet to be decided, the album is Bikrom’s joint venture project with French-Algerian composer Djamel who has composed three songs rendered by Mehrin in the album.

This album features world music, sounds from many corners of the world including Bangladesh. Artists of other countries worked in this project are from Australia,
Algeria, India, UK, and Musicians from US and France. All the singers rendered their song in their respective tongue. This album is expected to be released in August from Universal Inc.

Very recently Mehrin returned home from Calcutta finishing her part in the album. On her performance in the project, she told she had long craved for making such a mark for her country and her dream of rendering song in an international album came true thus. Recording of the album was done in Calcutta, New York and Australia. Bikrom Ghosh is a renowned Indian composer and tabla player.
