A brilliant movie about Schizophrenia. Unfortunately it is in English and I don't know if it can be released here. Can someone advise?

Akaler Sandhaney by Mrinal Sen

This film was earlier uploaded by Dakghor in mp4 format. That was quite some time ago.
I have a true 1CD DVD rip in (.avi). Both sound and video are excellent.

Any takers?

15 park avenue is a good movie but please don't post cuz thats not a bangla movie.

I don't think its a good movie. Infact, it does not have a special story, kinda boring movie, methinks.

I'm afraid I don't quite see it your way.

I think 15PA is brilliant essay about a schizophrenic and how her illness affects everybody around her. The emotions, the self-doubts, the trauma are all sensitively brought out.

My only grouse is that at times the story just meanders without leading to a definite end. At other times, the film seems to take on the look and feel of a documentary rather than a feature film. The end, I thought, was somewhat contrived and implausible.

The cinematography is exquisite and so is the acting, particularly by Shabana and Konkona, and the glittering star cast backs these two up admirably.

Its a good movie, methinks. Pity its in English and can't be released here.

That would be very kind brother.I haven't watched Akaler Sandhaney, thought I already have 15 PA's DVD with me.So it would be great if you can share Mrinal Sen's movie.
